New Year’s Eve in Lisbon – Where can you watch the fireworks show?

Lisbon bids farewell to 2025 and welcomes 2026 on its biggest stage: Praça do Comércio! With the Tagus River as a backdrop and the city gathered in a collective celebration, New Year’s Eve promises music, energy, and a memorable visual show, with free admission.

The party starts at 9:30 PM, with a musical warm-up by DJ Mojo, accompanied by MC Márcio Jesus. At 10:30 PM, the stage welcomes Plutônio, one of the most prominent names in contemporary Portuguese music. The end of his performance will begin the much-anticipated countdown to midnight. The arrival of 2026 will be marked with 10 minutes of fireworks launched from the Tagus River, synchronized with an aerial show of 250 drones, which will draw luminous shapes in the Lisbon sky. After the New Year’s toast, the party continues until 1 am, with the return of DJ Mojo, now accompanied by MC Helder Tavares.

After the party, there’s nothing like returning to a place where relaxation takes center stage. Staying at Luzeiros Suites enhances the experience with comfort, a central location, and time to start the new year at your own pace.
